William Penn reopens iconic Koramangala store

(Re)Opening our doors

Amidst the pandemic we saw eager eyes browsing, exploring and picking up fountain pens. Fountain pens, rollerballs, ballpoints and notebooks in a digitally obsessed time? Hmmm…

What sparked this overwhelming interest in fine writing instruments? Maybe, just maybe, it reminded us of simpler times.

Times when we relied on the skill of putting pen to paper. Moments when writing was an integral part of our existence. Our website of course was and is more than capable of fulfilling every fine writing dream a body could have but as there was something missing… the personal connection and pure appeal of a physical store. Our newly reopened flagship store delivers that and more.

Set on the busy streets of Koramangala, Bangalore, this store was a landmark; a place you could visit for gorgeous stationery and unforgettable memories. Today it stands tall, with a new facade, ready to mark new chapters in our lives.

Walk in to experience the finest pens from Montblanc, Cross, Sheaffer, Sailor, Fisher Space, Ranga Pens, Caran d’Ache and, let’s not forget, those exquisite pieces from Noblia that will leave you in awe.

As you take in these beautiful designs and make your way through the store, give yourself time to marvel at the unique ink wall that greets you with a myriad of colours. In addition to the excellent customer service we are known for, this store is a great place to partake of William Penn’s signature experience. Put any of these exclusive writing instruments to paper so you can make the most informed choice possible.

These exquisite shades of inks are from the most popular brands across the global which includes Montblanc, Sailor, Pelikan, Lapis Bard, Sheaffer, Lamy, Kaweco and Krishna Inks.

We realised that the most honourable personality to cut the ribbon would be a doctor; it was our small way of honouring the tireless efforts of the medical community during these times. Dr Sudarshan Ballal, the Chairman of Manipal Hospitals, was the Chief Guest for our small but grand opening, which was a memorable evening filled with admiration, nostalgia and love.

We cannot wait to delight our patrons with the experiences available only at our flagship store.

See you soon.
